Met a Hyundai Ioniq driver today in the gas station who said he fills his tank once a week, just a top up he says of $60.00 TT... His job takes him from Arima to Mayaro 7 days a week!!! Imagine if Hybrid vehicles such as this one were to substantially increase in this country?! What a detrimental blow it would be to our fuel industry.

    Maybe in time but not immediately. The costs of these new / foreign used vehicles and maintenance are prohibitive for most of the population,even with the waiver of VAT and MVT

    Seems there can be negative impacts elsewhere but the positive outweighs the negative.
